Miniature Art Books

Since we don't have a dollhouse yet, we began creating accessories we know our residents will need in their house. Miniature books! Here are some pictures of what we created--we'll post a tutorial next time we do it.

We also decided on our first two residents of Green Grove!

Mark is a humanities professor at the nearby University. He is 32 and has been teaching for four years.

His wife, Delilah, works at home writing a newspaper column of gardening tips. She is 29 and makes an excellent homegrown strawberry rhubarb pie.

They have been living in an apartment in the inner city trying to save money for a starter house. They are planning to move into their new home in Green Grove shortly.

We have started a separate blog for documenting the lives of our Green Grove residents. Mayor Habrigberry will be posting a short introduction and welcome to our blog readers within the next week. Stay tuned!!

Hello World!

We just bought a dollhouse! No, we're not stuffy 60 year old women, and this won't be a $500 colonial monstrosity with handmade artisan furniture or waxy, lifeless dolls perpetually baking their grandchildren hot buns.

We are two twenty-something young women that like art and crafts, and were looking for a creative project to collaborate on. This is out first stab at a dollhouse, but it's going to kick ass. We are going to make everything ourselves, and document the process--because we found there weren't any cool, progressive dollhouse sites.

This blog will contain photos of our progress, biographies and stories about the people that will be living in our houses, how-to guides about how to create your own dollhouse furniture & accessories, and probably some stuff about us too.

Here is our dollhouse, which we just ordered today from the magical dollhouse:<3 Molly & Erin
