Glue and Stain!

Today we glued our wallpaper on (most of it, anyway), and stained our floors and attic.

We used basic rubber cement that we knew would stick paper to wood without wrinkling. It's an acid-free adhesive, so our dollhouse will last longer. Here is a completed wall.

We picked up a light stain for the hardwood floors and staircase. You can find the glue and stain at any local craft store.

We made sure to paint in the direction of the grain.

We plan on picking up a sealant to give our floors a shiny top-coat.

We got excited and propped up our walls just to see how things would look...

Next time, we'll start constructing the staircase, bay windows, and porch...we think.
